The Minembwe Community Center is in the Haut Plateau region of eastern DR Congo. At 2000 meters and on the equator, there is a mixed sub-tropical/temperate climate, rolling hills and mountains, and an abundance of clean water, air and rich soil. The center provides vocational skills training and promotes entrepreneurship and local development.
